Biostimulants: humic, fulvic, amino acid and seaweed products

Biostimulants work alongside fertilizers rather than replacing them. They help roots grow, improve how crops take up the nutrients already applied, and support crops through stress such as heat, drought or transplanting.

Our range covers humic acid flakes for soil and drip, fulvic acid and potassium fulvate for drip and foliar use, protein hydrolysed amino acids, and black and green seaweed extracts.

    Buyer questions

    Can biostimulants replace fertilizers?

No. Biostimulants support root growth, nutrient uptake and stress tolerance, but crops still need their nutrients from fertilizers. They are used alongside a regular nutrition programme.

What is the difference between humic acid and fulvic acid?

Both are humic substances. Humic acid is the larger fraction and mainly improves soil structure and root growth. Fulvic acid is the smaller, more soluble fraction, which binds nutrients and helps carry them into the plant, so it suits drip and foliar use.

When are amino acids and seaweed extracts used?

Mostly during stress and key growth stages such as flowering and fruit set, as foliar sprays or through drip.
